Lead Sonographer Development Program

This is an opportunity to lead a clinical teaching, oversight and leadership role for ultrasound trainees in Tasmania.

The position will involve limited scanning with a predominantly supervisory role over multiple students. There is also the ability to be a hybrid role of both supervisory and scanning if desired.

As part of this role, you will work closely with current ultrasound leadership to create an inviting teaching environment with high standards.

The ideal candidate will have ASAR registration, a minimum of 4 years experience as a general sonographer, thorough knowledge of scanning techniques and anatomy, experience mentoring or tutoring students and a commitment to providing high-quality imaging and continued professional development.

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to build and mould their own training regime in conjunction with the current lead sonographer.

Key responsibilities include leading clinical teaching sessions, overseeing student progress and providing feedback and guidance.
