SLR is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Consultant to join our National Geotechnical team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects across multiple sectors, including mining and resources, infrastructure, and built environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage geotechnical projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients, identifying and pursuing new opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Provide technical oversight, review, and mentorship to junior team members, helping to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in geotechnical engineering, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects that meet or exceed client expectations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years' experience in geotechnical consulting, with a strong background in project management, business development, and technical expertise.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Strong business development skills, with a proven ability to identify and pursue new opportunities for growth and expansion.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
