We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team at JLL Investment Group Pty Ltd. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and managing all aspects of the restaurant's functionality.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting the standard for service expectations by scrutinizing every aspect of the guest's experience from start to finish, and personally intervening to correct below standard service issues. They will also be responsible for coaching and counseling staff to achieve the highest quality of service in all areas of the restaurant.

The key responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager include:

  • Restaurant Operations: Managing all operational aspects of the restaurant, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations, to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervising staff, providing training, scheduling shifts, and ensuring high performance to meet our customer satisfaction standards.
  • Customer Service: Ensuring the highest standards of customer service and resolving any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stock Management: Overseeing stock management, placing orders, and maintaining inventory levels to ensure efficient operations and minimize waste.
  • Chef and Kitchen Staff Management: Working with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and food quality, and planning new menus and special dishes with chefs.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Creating and managing the restaurant's budget, analyzing financial data, and improving profitability to ensure the long-term success of the restaurant.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new customers and promote the restaurant's brand.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food regulations to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Monitoring restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and maintenance standards to ensure a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handling daily administrative tasks such as payroll, performance reviews, and reports to ensure efficient operations and compliance with company policies.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management or a similar leadership role.
  • A diploma or higher in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
  • Experience in managing restaurant operations and teams.
  • Knowledge of Chinese cuisine or Asian hospitality will be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, inventory, and staff rosters.
