Speech Pathologist Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting children to achieve development milestones in communication, literacy, and language
  • Educating parents and carers to support communication development
  • Supporting children with clear pronunciation, stuttering, and articulation disorders

  • Teaching children safe food and drink management skills

Eligibility criteria include:

  • Degree in Speech Pathology or currently completing
  • Eligibility for SPA registration upon graduating
  • Graduated in the last 12 months or graduating by early 2025
  • Full valid driver's license with third-party insurance and access to own vehicle
  • Valid Working with Children Check and current Police Check
  • NDIS Workers Screening Clearance and First Aid and CPR certification
