Our Green Team seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic gardener to volunteer with our community garden.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining the garden area by performing tasks such as weeding, pruning, planting, and watering.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the garden space.
  • Support participants as they engage in gardening activities under the guidance of a lead volunteer.
  • Cultivate and care for produce grown in the Centre's accessible garden beds.
  • Maintain an inclusive environment for all participants, including those with disabilities.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to provide a safe gardening experience.
Requirements
  • Working With Children check is mandatory.
  • Current police check is mandatory.
  • Fully vaccinated.

The garden features accessibility-friendly raised beds and a step-less entrance, ensuring inclusion for all participants. Volunteers may interact with individuals receiving support through various programs.
