About the Role
Mineset Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our client's team in North West Tasmania. As a Maintenance Planner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our client's mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the scheduling and prioritization of Shutdown work orders in the Pronto CMMS.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our client's Shutdown Work Management Procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance supervisors, internal clients, and contractors to ensure effective Shutdown planning.
- Ensure that scheduled work orders align with regulatory guidelines on timing and scope.
- Communicate Shutdown achievements and progress to stakeholders.
- Generate sign-off documents for major shut events within agreed timelines.
- Develop Shutdown Organizational Charts and MS Project Gantt Charts.
- Maintain accurate records of all work orders in both hard-copy and soft-copy formats.
- Review the effectiveness of Shutdown contractors and provide findings to Senior Maintenance Management.
- Produce timely Shutdown reporting data and maintain S-Curve style reports to manage schedule timing and business risk.
- Provide Senior Management with detailed Shutdown Completion data.
Requirements
- Relevant Trade or Engineering qualification.
- 4-5 years of experience in a Maintenance Planner role, preferably with shutdown and underground experience.
- Strong organizational and results-driven skills.
- High level of computer literacy and experience using a CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
