Lead Clinical Director for Aged Care Services

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Lead Clinical Director to oversee our organisation-wide clinical governance, quality, and education programs.

This role sits on the Executive Leadership Team and is responsible for embedding a high-performing clinical culture, fostering strong cross-functional relationships, and supporting service teams to deliver consistently excellent care.

The successful candidate will lead clinical risk management, audits, and incident reviews; uplift systems and staff capability; and oversee the organisation's early careers program — all while helping shift from a culture of compliance to one of clinical excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Executive leadership experience in aged care, health, or community services
  • AHPRA registration (RN or Allied Health) and postgrad qualifications in nursing, governance, or health management
  • Deep expertise in clinical governance, risk management, accreditation, and compliance
  • Experience overseeing clinical education, capability uplift, and workforce pipelines
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to coach, influence, and solve complex problems across all levels
  • A collaborative and people-focused leadership style that fosters culture, safety, and accountability
