We are seeking a skilled Auxiliary Firefighter to join our team in providing emergency services to the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for responding to fire and emergency incidents, promoting community safety, and contributing to community education activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Respond to fire and emergency incidents in a safe and effective manner
  2. Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through community education activities
  3. Develop and maintain competencies through regular drills and training courses
  4. Maintain required attendance standards for emergency incidents and training
  5. Operate specialist firefighting and rescue equipment

Requirements

  • Employer's written consent to attend incidents and emergencies
  • Live or work within a reasonable distance of the auxiliary fire station
  • Australian Permanent Resident Status
  • Manual C Class driver's licence
