Johnson Controls Australia utilizes our extensive building technology portfolio and years of industry experience to provide comprehensive, top-tier security solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Role Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to bolster our Service Team as we pursue ambitious growth goals. This role offers you the independence to excel in various projects while allowing you to enhance your technical and leadership capabilities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to system breakdown requests and performing scheduled preventive maintenance
  • Commissioning Chillers and HVAC equipment at client locations
  • Troubleshooting system issues
  • Conducting overhauls and fault diagnostics on various systems including reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal types
  • Documenting equipment results and submitting reports to clients
  • Managing customer relationships
  • Advising and training clients on system operations

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a technician in related fields
  • Proven skills in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting within HVAC or industrial cooling sectors
  • Experience in mechanical or electrical work within the HVAC industry
  • Ability to interpret schematics and prepare reports
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A valid driver's license
