We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to fill the role of Care Services Assistant. In this position, you will play a pivotal frontline carer role with a particular focus on nutrition and dining, supporting residents to live a life of fulfillment through the delivery of person-centred care and support according to needs and preferences of each resident in everyday practice.

Assisting in the preparation, delivery, presentation and serving of resident meals is an essential aspect of this role. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Meal choices and individual nutrition
  • Consideration of allergies and food intolerances
  • Enhancing the overall dining experience

As a Care Services Assistant, you will be responsible for providing care and support aligned with residents' preferred daily routines with a strong focus on:

  • Actively engaging with residents to provide social and emotional support during mealtimes
  • Using empathy and kindness to foster a positive dining experience
  • Promoting resident choice and control to uphold dignity and respect
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • A compassionate and caring attitude
  • Previous restaurant and/or commercial kitchen experience (highly regarded)
