Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Womenswear Designer to join our design team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering beautiful, innovative, and fashion-forward collections that showcase our brand's unique style and aesthetic.

You will work closely with our design team to establish a strong foundation of core brand fabrications and iconic trims and graphics, while also constantly sourcing and developing new techniques and materials at the forefront of trends and technological advances in the fashion industry.

As a Senior Womenswear Designer, you will be responsible for ensuring cohesion between our brand's seasonal creative vision and your design output, presenting unified collections that reflect the sensibilities of our brand.

You will have a robust understanding of price points, margins, fabrication, and construction techniques, and experience developing supplier relationships. You will use this knowledge to ensure each piece is designed to maximise profitability and reach business targets for the collection.

This is an end-to-end role, where you will manage your own deadlines, critical path, margins, and supplier developments, reporting on progress and signing off with the Design Room Manager and the General Manager of Design.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and deliver beautiful, innovative, and fashion-forward womenswear collections that showcase our brand's unique style and aesthetic.
  2. Work closely with our design team to establish a strong foundation of core brand fabrications and iconic trims and graphics.
  3. Constantly source and develop new techniques and materials at the forefront of trends and technological advances in the fashion industry.
  4. Ensure cohesion between our brand's seasonal creative vision and your design output, presenting unified collections that reflect the sensibilities of our brand.
  5. Manage your own deadlines, critical path, margins, and supplier developments, reporting on progress and signing off with the Design Room Manager and the General Manager of Design.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Womenswear Designer with a strong understanding of the fashion industry and a passion for delivering exceptional womenswear collections.

You will have a minimum of five years of experience in RTW design, with a proven track record of working with offshore manufacturing and technical management of suppliers.

You will hold impeccable attention to detail and organisation skills, with excellent interpersonal and technical communication skills applicable to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will be able to manage competing priorities and timelines, ensuring priorities are met and managed based on the importance of timeframe, and critical path.
