Meteorology Capability Liaison

Key to this role is understanding Defence needs and planning processes at all levels.
Role DescriptionThe National Security and Space Program seeks a motivated person to enhance the Bureau's Defence relationship, seek opportunities to expand support provided to Defence, and accelerate the transition of emergent products and services to Defence beneficiaries.
This role requires strong communication and engagement skills, as well as experience building partner and stakeholder relationships. You will work closely with ADF members and Defence APS staff to realise the Bureau's contribution of adding value and impact across Defence.
To be successful you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in building partner and stakeholder relationships;
- Demonstrated communication and engagement skills;
- Demonstrated behaviour in adding value to ADF and Australian Public Service (APS) outcomes by connecting Defence and the national security sector with highly skilled Bureau technical staff;
- Demonstrated knowledge of Defence capability and the Defence capability planning process;
- An ability to develop a knowledge of meteorology and how the Bureau produces products to support its customers;
The occupant of this position will also make contributions to a broad range of management and other enterprise-wide activities within the Bureau.
