Aviation Security Officer Opportunity

The Role
  • You will be responsible for screening passengers at the security checkpoint, utilizing advanced security equipment to ensure a smooth and efficient process.
  • Through paid training, you will gain a Certificate 2 in Transport Security and develop a range of aviation security skills.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Engage with customers to provide a positive and high-quality experience.
  2. Undertake screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
  3. Apply physical ability and skills to perform emergency procedures.
  4. Ensure compliance with security protocols and regulatory requirements.
  5. Display professional standards of behavior and personal presentation.
Requirements
  • Ability to obtain/endorse for Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP).
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to learn and work as part of a team environment.
  • Ability to obtain an ASIC Card and pass a drug and alcohol check.
  • Driver's licence and transport.
  • Ability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
