We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team at Manpower Australia. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move materials and products within our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities:
- Physical Picking and Stock Management: Physically pick and manage stock, including medium-heavy lifting, to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload trucks, trailers, and other vehicles to ensure timely and safe transportation of goods.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick orders from lists using RF scanners, ensuring accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to hygiene standards and company procedures.
- Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in a cold storage environment is preferred.
- Warehouse Management Skills: Possess warehouse management skills, including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Forklift Experience: 12 months of counterbalance forklift experience is required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and efficiency, and physically lift up to 20kg as required.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
