Job Description

This is an expression of interest for candidates willing to relocate. Assistance with relocation costs will be provided.

About the Role

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating technical and administrative aspects of construction project delivery.

  • Manage daily engineering functions on site, support technical coordination, and provide input into planning and procurement.
  • Oversee project documentation, assist with subcontractor engagement, and drive construction quality through inspections and reporting.
  • Work closely with engineers, other consultants and subcontractors to resolve design issues, manage technical queries, and ensure construction activities are delivered as specified.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial construction engineering working on high value projects.
  • A solid understanding of construction drawings, sequencing, buildability, and quality assurance processes.
  • The ability to manage multiple work fronts and interface with consultants, site teams, and suppliers.
  • An understanding of procurement processes, cost control and contract administration.
