Production Coordinator - CAF Rail Australia

We are seeking a skilled Production Coordinator to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for Supply Chain management and available stock of materials. They will also perform logistic and purchasing activities to support the team working on the trains as part of a Retrofit project between CAF and our client.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Management: Manage the receipt, storage, custody, preparation, and dispatch of materials.
  • Logistic and Purchasing Activities: Perform logistic and purchasing activities to support the team working on the trains.
  • Warehouse Operations: Ensure compliance with standards and the correct development of work for the achievement of quality and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification: Possess a trade qualification in Electrical technical disciplines.
  • Workplace Experience: Have at least two years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance activities.
  • Recommended Experience: Recommended experience on railway maintenance, electrical area.

Key Skills:

  • Quality Assurance: Define and apply Quality Project Management standards and technical specifications.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory of stock material.
  • Data Management: Input material into the system from origin warehouse.
