About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Perioperative Nurse to join our team at Albury Wodonga Health. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  4. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest perioperative nursing practices and technologies.
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
  1. Valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  2. Previous experience in perioperative nursing, preferably in a similar role.
  3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  4. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Commitment to patient safety and quality care.
  6. A positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
