Are you a motivated and enthusiastic individual looking to gain valuable work experience while completing your studies? We have an exciting opportunity for a School-Based Trainee to join our team

The Role:

We are seeking a Year 10 student to undertake a School-Based Traineeship where you will work towards a Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations. This traineeship will provide you with hands-on experience working in a dynamic retail environment, as well as the opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.

This position is based at one of our Queensland branches. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Completing all requirements of the certificate
  • Processing sales and managing stock
  • Answering phones and taking messages and orders
  • Communicating with customers and staff
  • Building product knowledge and following up with customers
  • Maintaining a high standard of work environment

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and learn new things quickly
  • Enthusiasm and a great attitude
  • Willingness to work as part of a team and take on additional hours during school holidays

As a School-Based Trainee, you will be required to work the equivalent of one and a half days per week. Availability on Saturdays is essential, and additional hours during school holidays are available and recommended to assist in your progress.
