We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our dynamic team at InfraBuild Reinforcing. As a key member of our State Maintenance Program team, you will play a critical role in executing planned preventive and breakdown maintenance across 13 sites throughout the state.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure a Safe Workplace: Identify and address risks appropriately, demonstrating positive safety behavior and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
- Execute Maintenance Activities: Work according to the weekly work schedule and perform unscheduled work as required, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Electrical Maintenance Inspections: Conduct preventative electrical maintenance inspections, machine installations, relocations, switchboard upgrades, and safety upgrades to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Task Development and Enhancement: Assist in the development and enhancement of task-lists, work procedures, and instructions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Electrical Trade Qualification: Possess a valid Electrical trade qualification and relevant experience in the industry.
- Experience in Fault-Finding: Have experience in fault-finding activities on complex, heavy industrial equipment.
- Breakdown, Repair, and Preventative Maintenance: Demonstrate experience in breakdown, repair, and preventative maintenance inspections in a similar industry.
- Overhead Crane Experience: Proven history working on overhead cranes, including fault-finding, breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance.
- Teamwork and Communication: Ability to work in a team environment that prioritizes people and safety, with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret Electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic and hydraulic drawings, and contribute to informed technical decisions.
- Certifications: Possess a Forklift ticket and EWP ticket.
- Post-Trade Courses: Experience in post-trade courses, particularly in heavy industry.
- PLC Control Systems: Familiarity with PLC control systems.
- SAP or Equivalent: Experience with SAP or equivalent systems.
- Safety Systems: Knowledge of safety systems.
- HMI and Scada: Familiarity with HMI and Scada systems.
- Permanent, Full-Time Role: A permanent, full-time position with a view to a rotating shift roster once initial training has been completed.
- Overtime Opportunities: Opportunity for overtime, depending on jobs and business needs.
