Implement Advanced Technologies in Brisbane

We are partnering with a leading global mining company to fill an Implementation Specialist role in the heart of Brisbane.

This 12-month contract, with potential for permanency, involves implementing and upgrading cutting-edge products that optimize and monitor mining operations.

The Role:

  • Work on-site in Brisbane CBD, with hybrid flexibility (3 days office, 2 days remote)
  • Domestic travel required for approximately 5% of the role
  • Prior experience with mining technologies or systems is essential

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers to implement system modules according to specifications and configure them based on requirements gathered from business analyses.
  • Install and set up comprehensive mining systems to meet commercial contracts and site-specific needs.
  • Plan and execute integrated testing and customer acceptance testing.
  • Solve technical issues through investigation and resolution, including responding to customer inquiries.
  • Provide technical training on implementation for end-users and system administrators.
  • Manage implementation and integration tasks for both internal and external customers.
  • Contribute to documentation, training, and functional specifications.
  • Adhere to project management processes and implementation assignments.

Must-Haves:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with technical software system implementation, preferably in a mining environment.
  • Fleet Management implementation experience is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of installing, configuring, and commissioning mining technology on heavy machinery is beneficial.
  • A Technical Bachelor's Degree and/or relevant experience in IT, technical, or engineering roles.
  • Significant experience with IT system architectures, enterprise computing infrastructure, and cyber security.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Brisbane-based candidates only, due to the role's hybrid nature with a 2/3 WFH and office split.
