Barista Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Barista All-Rounder to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for creating exceptional customer experiences by crafting high-quality beverages and providing top-notch service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce consistently delicious specialty coffee drinks that meet customer expectations.
  • Adjust grinder, dial in machine, understand extraction techniques and execute great milk texture in a timely manner.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers by greeting them with enthusiasm and a smile.
  • Assist with opening and closing of the store, ensuring a seamless experience for customers and colleagues alike.
  • Problem solve and trouble shoot equipment workings when required, prioritizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain an orderly and clean workspace, adhering to section cleaning/refill procedures.
  • Ensure appealing product/packaging presentation that aligns with company standards.
  • Support manager and team members with daily duties, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
  • Actively promote menu offerings with confidence and understanding.
  • Understand and implement a high standard of food safety hygiene practices at all times.

  • Demonstrate a GREAT attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations.
  • Be honest, punctual, professional and adaptable to a growing business environment.
  • Possess excellent communication and organization skills, enabling effective teamwork and time management.
  • Show ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and composure.
  • Demonstrate minimum 2 years of industry relevant experience, with previous experience working in a Continental Deli being a plus.
