About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Education Professional to join our team as a Middle Years Teacher - Years 3-4. The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be relationship-focused, with the ability to build and maintain genuine relationships with students, families, and other staff to support our community in raising the whole child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exemplary, data-driven, evidence-based teaching practices aligned with the Kalamunda Primary whole school approaches, targeted curriculum differentiation, leading to high standards of achievement and progression for all students.
  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those with disability, imputed disability, and complex needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school-wide initiatives that promote student learning and well-being.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the school's curriculum, including the development of new programs and resources.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students, parents, and colleagues to support student learning and achievement.
Requirements
  • Hold an eligible teaching qualification.
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment.
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting.
  • Consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.
