About IFYS Limited
We provide child protection residential care programs to support children and young people in need of a safe living environment.
Our Residential Youth Workers work closely with Case Managers to deliver day-to-day care to young people in the Residential Care house. Their responsibilities may include supporting young people to manage challenging behaviours, planning or attending activities and following daily routines to promote life-skills development.
The role also involves completing case notes and admin tasks on a daily basis, as well as contributing to maintaining a clean and safe environment.

About You
To be successful in this role, you should be flexible, adaptable and open to learning. Working with young people displaying complex and challenging behaviours requires building rapport quickly and remaining non-judgmental. This role also demands resilience and good professional boundaries.
Essential Requirements
- A QLD Working With Children Blue Card or have applied for one
- Valid Queensland open driver's license with no restrictions
- Ability to provide two references from recent employers (including your current line manager)
- Already hold or are enrolled in a Certificate IV or higher in a relevant field prior to commencing work
- Availability for a variety of different shifts over a fortnightly roster (day/evening/sleepover/weekend)
