We are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) with Bridges experience for ongoing work in Perth WA.

Job Overview:

The Senior Project Engineer will be responsible for evaluating the effective coordination and control of Engineering Works for a designated project through activities of technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and quality control based on CaSE/Client standards. This role will involve collaborating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and successful completion of the project on schedule, within budget, and to the specified quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Determine the quality and environmental aspects of the project and implement measures to maintain effective operation and project delivery.
  2. Oversee subcontractors' performance and ensure the quality and standard of workmanship align with specifications.
  3. Document and address non-conformances as soon as practically possible.
  4. Cultivate a culture of safety by implementing and communicating safety plans to project team members, including suppliers and subcontractors.
  5. Comply with HSE policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
  6. Assist with resolving safety issues as directed by the Project Manager.
  7. Promote collaboration by participating in the preparation of safe Work Method Statements in consultation with the work group carrying the proposed activity.
  8. Engage subcontractors in line with the CaSE/Client safety management system and procedures.
  9. Manage construction method statements approvals.
  10. Drive safety initiatives by setting an example and ensuring project team members and subcontractor supervisors meet their safety KPIs.

Performance Metrics:

  1. Effectiveness of construction methods implementation.
  2. Timeliness and efficiency of project delivery.
  3. Quality and environmental standards maintenance.
  4. Adherence to HSE policies and procedures.
  5. Safety record and incident reporting.
