Job Overview

We seek a seasoned Tax Manager to lead our team, providing strategic leadership in tax planning, structuring, and compliance. As a key member of our Accounting and Advisory division, you will oversee the Accounting team, coordinate tasks, and ensure high standards of service are maintained.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and managing the Accounting team, ensuring technical proficiency and high standards of service.
  • Reviewing and approving tax returns prepared by the team, adhering to systems and processes to achieve revenue targets.
  • Leading the annual tax planning process, overseeing ATO and ASIC matters, and liaising with the ATO on behalf of clients for private rulings and objections.
  • Preparing tax returns, activity statements, financial statements, and work-papers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Masters of Tax highly regarded).
  • CPA, CA, or CTA membership (Registered Tax Agent highly regarded).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience.
  • Strong time management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Xero and Xero Practice Manager (XPM) highly regarded.
  • High standard of ethics, confidentiality, and professionalism.
