About the Role:
This role involves working with individuals with dementia, providing personalized support and promoting their independence.
You will work closely with our team to develop and implement support plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
Your key responsibilities will include cooking and following set menus, as well as backfilling evening shifts when required.
About You:
To be successful in this selection, you should have the following experience:
- Supporting people with dementia
- Experience with restrictive practices
- Ability to cook and follow set menus
- Supporting people with psychosocial disability, with a focus on providing supports at home, including personal care requirements
- Experience understanding and delivering supports within a positive behaviour support framework
A tertiary qualification (minimum Certificate III level knowledge for Disability and/or aged care) is highly desirable.
