Pharmacy Support Assistant

About this role
We are looking for an experienced pharmacy assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing bookings, gathering patient information and assisting with initial screening.
Training will be provided through the ACP full scope of practice for pharmacy assistants course as well as on the job training with our prescribing pharmacists on site.
This is a great opportunity to be part of an exciting new era in pharmacy at one of the first pharmacies in Australia providing this service 6 days per week.
- Managing bookings
- Gathering patient information
- Assisting with initial screening
- Welcoming customers
- Stocking and facing shelves
- Ticketing and merchandising
- Maintaining a clean and organised store
- Processing transactions
We seek individuals with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. Previous pharmacy or retail experience is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate must have:
- Cash handling and register skills
- Customer focus
- Strong communication skills between all stakeholders
- Dedicated work ethic
- Willingness to learn and grow with the business
- Ability to work in a team and individually
- Eye for detail and accuracy
