Auxiliary Fire Support Specialist

As a key member of our emergency response team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of Queensland communities through proactive prevention, preparation, response, and recovery activities during emergencies.
We are seeking highly motivated individuals who are passionate about making a difference in their community. As an auxiliary fire support specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in emergency services, while also contributing to the delivery of high-quality fire, rescue, and emergency management services.
The ideal candidate will be a strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will possess a current Blue Card and be willing to commit to regular drill and training sessions. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to emergency incidents and provide critical support to our firefighting teams.
- Promote community safety and emergency preparedness through education and awareness programs.
- Develop and maintain competencies through regular training and drills.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
