Amazon Cloud Security Manager for Incident Response

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced security leader to join our team as a Cloud Security Manager for Incident Response. This role will involve leading by example, innovating and solving complex security challenges at scale, orchestrating strategy and direction, roadmapping planning, and project execution scheduling.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional engineering team in delivering innovative security solutions that drive incident response across all Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Develop and maintain high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems using AWS technologies
- Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and managers to mentor junior engineers and build a strong team culture
- Communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with common attack scenarios within cloud computing environments and use a security framework such as MITRE ATT&CK to define and analyze security incidents
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience developing, maintaining, and scaling production software
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing and building teams, including coaching and mentoring
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- AWS Solutions Architect (Associate level) certification
- Experience with building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distributed systems and executing a software roadmap
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner
