Early Childhood Educator Job

Sunshine Kindy, Early Years Learning & Care Centre creates a fun and engaging learning atmosphere for our little learners and team members.

We offer a Traineeship opportunity for an enthusiastic applicant at our boutique centre in Chester Hill. You'll study towards a Certificate III qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care while gaining valuable on-the-job experience.

  • You will learn how to provide an educational play-based program supporting the development of our 0-5 year age group.
  • On-the-job training and study time are provided during the Traineeship contract.

To be part of our team, you should be a warm, caring, and nurturing person who is reliable, dependable, and always up for a laugh.

The essential requirements include:

  • Being prepared for interruptions, and having prior experience in distributing cozy hugs.
  • Performing songs and dances while being laughed at by children under 6.
  • Preparing and serving imaginary snacks and ensuring the pretend pot of tea is not too hot.
  • Counting tiny heads in quick succession (can you count to 25?)
  • Not being afraid to get messy and have fun.
