In this position, you will be responsible for managing fuel facilities, refueling aircraft and vehicles, operating various types of equipment including forklifts and fuel trucks, and conducting laboratory tests on fuel samples. You will also be required to participate in marine transfer operations and adhere to strict workplace health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management of fuel facilities, ensuring efficient and safe operations
  • Refuel aircraft and vehicles, adhering to strict safety protocols
  • Operate various types of equipment, including forklifts and fuel trucks, with precision and care
  • Conduct laboratory tests on fuel samples, analyzing results and making recommendations for improvement
  • Participate in marine transfer operations, working closely with colleagues to ensure seamless execution

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including paid annual leave, sick leave, and access to on-site fitness facilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the Australian Defence Force
  • Strong technical expertise in fuel management, laboratory testing, and equipment operation
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • A high level of physical fitness, with the ability to perform demanding tasks in challenging conditions
