Patient Food Service Cleaner

We are seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join our team as a Patient Food Service Cleaner.

In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the care and experience of our patients by delivering exceptional food and beverage service. You will be responsible for ensuring our kitchen remains clean, safe, and efficient, while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean Kitchen Surfaces: Wipe down countertops, sinks, stoves, and other surfaces to remove dirt, grease, and food particles.
  • Floor Cleaning: Sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen floors regularly to prevent accidents and maintain hygiene.
  • Clean Kitchen Equipment: Wash and sanitize kitchen appliances such as ovens, fridges, microwaves, dishwashers, and ventilation systems.
  • Trash Disposal: Empty kitchen trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal. Replace liners and clean trash receptacles.
  • Cleaning Storage Areas: Keep storage areas organized and free of debris.
  • Assist with Food Safety Compliance: Ensure all areas are cleaned according to safety and sanitation standards. Report any health and safety concerns.
  • Periodic Deep Cleaning: Perform deep cleaning tasks on a rotating basis, including cleaning ovens, vents, behind kitchen equipment, trolleys, and other hard-to-reach areas.
  • Maintain Equipment: Ensure cleaning equipment (mops, brooms, vacuums, etc.) is in good working condition and report any issues.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
