About the Role
  • Deliver high-quality care services to adults residing in residential aged care facilities and the community.
  • Potential to work with diverse conditions, including dementia, Parkinson's disease, post-stroke, progressive neurological disorders, and ageing-related decline.
Responsibilities
  • Manage your schedule of appointments with flexibility in work hours and locations.
  • Assess and diagnose swallowing and communication difficulties in clients.
  • Potential for national travel to support clients in regional areas.
  • Provide telehealth-based dysphagia and/or communication assessment and intervention.
  • Liaise with a collaborative team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care needs are met.
  • Advocate for support for clients with communication challenges.
  • Offer consultative and educational support to clients, their families, and colleagues.
