**Role Summary**

A Heavy Vehicle Tyre Technician is required for a full-time position based in the South of Wollongong. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of tyre fitting, including earthmoving, truck, industrial, agricultural, underground mining, light truck, or passenger car.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Perform tyre fitting for industrial and earthmovers as directed by management
  • Recommend the repair or replacement of customer's tyres to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety
  • Complete and submit JSEA (Job Safety and Environmental Analysis) and SWMS (Safe Work Method Statement) before starting work to maintain a safe working environment
  • Prepare and submit relevant reports on a regular basis to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in a rotating roster for call back duties to provide excellent customer service outside of normal working hours
  • Attend weekly toolbox meetings to stay informed about company updates, new technologies, and best practices in the industry

**Requirements**

  • Proven experience in tyre fitting for earthmoving, truck, industrial, or agricultural sectors is essential
  • Proficiency in computerised balancing of truck and passenger car wheels is highly desirable
  • Current Class HR driver's licence and C2 Crane Licence are mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills and a solid understanding of WHS regulations are necessary to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
