Secure and scalable infrastructure is at the heart of every organization's success. This role will provide subject matter expertise in the development, implementation, and management of all Linux platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of roadmaps across Private and Public Cloud platforms
  • Manage, patch, upgrade, and support of all Linux platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to assess and implement infrastructure improvements
  • Participate in incident response and problem management activities
  • Mentor junior engineers, promoting technical growth and development
  • Ensure solutions align with business continuity requirements
Requirements
  • Australian Citizenship at the time of application
  • Negative Vetting 1 (Secret) security clearance or the ability to obtain one
  • Relevant qualification or extensive experience and knowledge in area of expertise
  • Has contemporary knowledge and experience relevant to the role
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Linux administration
  • Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders and attend client meetings and technical forums
  • Strong understanding of cloud security best practices e.g. Information Security Manual (ISM) and Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF)
Desirable Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Helm, Keycloak, GPU accelerated workloads
  • Knowledge and experience integrating Kubernetes clusters with VMWare vSphere, Infoblox, F5 BIG-IP, Dell EMC Isilon, IBM QRadar
  • Knowledge experience with VMWare vSphere, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization
  • Experience with Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform, Satellite, Nagios, and Identity Manager
  • SOE/MOE Creation, Maintenance and Deployment, including security updates and patching for Red Hat Enterprise Linux
