Job Title

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated animal care professional to deliver dog training classes and one-on-one sessions, ensuring our customers receive exceptional education.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training content in line with our animal welfare and ethics guidelines
  • Participate in regular paid training sessions with senior trainers to refresh and improve skills
  • Be physically fit to handle dogs of all sizes; may work with other species (e.g., cats, aquatic classes)
  • Lift heavy items up to 20kg (e.g., bags of dog food)
  • Collaborate with a team to grow with the business and achieve results

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Passion for animal behavior and training; positive reinforcement-based training experience or qualifications highly regarded
  • Commitment to pet care
  • Public speaking and presentation experience
  • High integrity, motivated, proactive, and able to handle pressure with composure
  • Strong communication skills with clients
  • Animal studies qualifications highly regarded
  • Commitment to ongoing learning and improvement in science-based animal training
