CPB Contractors Pty Limited is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on the Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture project. As a key member of our project team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of this major infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and record progress against the project plan, identifying and resolving engineering issues as they arise.
- Manage the administration of subcontractors, ensuring technical matters are compliant with project standards.
- Drive a zero-harm safety culture on site, contributing to a safe work environment and ensuring works are delivered to legislative and project standards.
- Review and understand construction drawings, specifications, and method statements, liaising with foremen and subcontractors to achieve target outcomes.
- Ensure project delivery is compliant with project standards, ensuring on-site works are delivered to quality standards and complete all relevant documentation.
- Participate in and maintain cost management of daily activities, preparing documentation for procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure allocated work packages and resources are managed to ensure costs are within or below budget, contributing to the achievement of project targets.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering.
- 1-2 years experience in a similar role.
- Excellent subcontractor management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to develop and maintain good working relationships internally and externally.
