Psychiatric Care Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to work with a supportive team of healthcare professionals in various settings, including hospitals and correctional facilities.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing assessments, and providing wound care.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and support staff, to ensure quality patient care.
- Current AHPRA registration without restrictions or conditions.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in nursing.
- Minimum of 12 months experience in an Australian hospital setting.
- Post-graduate in Mental Health or 12 months recent experience working in Mental Health.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
