Ramp and Baggage Handler

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the position of Ramp and Baggage Handler in our operations.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Determine and obtain aircraft resources, updating worksheets according to airlines service level agreements/tasks;
  • Action and cover sick calls, personal leave etc. advised by the supervisor or department manager;
  • Determine and allocate available shifts through a fair and transparent process while adhering to all operational demands;
  • Action and update all shift swaps as per standard operating procedures;
  • Prepare an accurately completed worksheet/crew sheets for the supervisor/department manager to utilize on shift;
  • Be willing to undertake training and work with new systems implemented into the business;
  • Manage staff allocation for disruptions and delays;
  • Maintain staff and business confidentiality.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills;
  • Demonstrated capability to work in a team environment;
  • Knowledge of and understanding of our business including Service Level Agreements;
  • Sound knowledge of computer skills including MS word and Excel;
  • The ability to work unsupervised and follow procedures.
