Job Description

The Story

A leading National Healthcare provider is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead their Systems and Networks teams.

The Role

This is a 6-month daily rate contract with a possible extension. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the Network Team and overseeing the Systems team across infrastructure initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing external vendors
  • High-level knowledge of Cisco, Palo Alto highly regarded
  • Cloud knowledge preferred ideally Azure
  • Strong emphasis on leadership with change and governance across infrastructure
  • Drive and report on patching
  • Providing guidance to BAU activities
  • Project work notably with integration as relates to infrastructure
  • Ensuring appropriate stakeholder communication
  • Managing risks and conflicts between dependencies and interdependencies

What You Bring To The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure management, with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in managing network and systems teams, delivering projects, and overseeing infrastructure initiatives.

Must-Haves:

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in infrastructure management
  • Experience managing network and systems teams as well as delivering projects
  • Solid experience of Infrastructure including Networks and Systems - Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto preferred
  • Experience in change management and providing governance
  • Experience overseeing and guiding with patching
  • Vendor Management experience
