The Role

This role requires a strong functional understanding coupled with the capability to lead workshops, build user stories, and prioritise development backlogs. The ideal candidate will also mentor junior functional consultants while collaborating effectively with solution architects, Microsoft architects, and customer representatives to finalise comprehensive solution designs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Workshop Facilitation & Requirement Gathering: Lead and conduct workshops to capture business requirements, ensuring all stakeholder needs are accurately represented.
  • Develop detailed user stories and maintain a robust Dev Ops backlog to guide development activities.
  • Prioritise and scope user stories to ensure alignment with the overall project objectives and timelines.
  • Mentor junior functional consultants, fostering their professional growth and ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Act as the primary functional subject matter expert on Dynamics 365 Customer Service and Power Platform modules.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, broader Microsoft architects, and customer architects to finalise solution design.
  • Perform thorough feasibility and feed gap analysis to identify and mitigate potential risks early in the project lifecycle.
  • Engage with ISV products (such as N52 or similar) to leverage best-of-breed solutions where applicable.
  • Possess a sound understanding of Azure Dev Ops, enabling seamless integration between functional and technical development processes.
  • E nsure the functional design is fully aligned with technical specifications and adheres to industry best practices.
  • Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, ensuring transparency and shared understanding throughout the project lifecycle.
