Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Exercise Scientist to join our team at Kieser Australia. As an Exercise Scientist, you will be responsible for educating and supervising clients on the training floor to achieve long-term health outcomes through strength training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 1:1 and group sessions, strength assessments, and movement analysis with clients to identify and address their needs.
  • Apply scientific concepts and evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their health and fitness goals.
  • Develop and implement exercise prescriptions and plans for clients, taking into account their individual needs and goals.
  • Establish, assess, and reassess goals for new and long-term clients to ensure they are on track to achieving their desired outcomes.
  • Guide athletes or clients with fitness goals to achieve peak performance and recover from injury, using evidence-based methods and techniques.
  • Complete a range of administrative duties, including maintaining accurate records and communicating with clients and colleagues.
  • Deliver high-quality service in accordance with Kieser Australia's standards, ensuring a positive and supportive experience for clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Exercise and Sport Science or a related field.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • First Aid & CPR Certification.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience.
  • Previous private practice experience.
  • Previous experience with long-term management of client outcomes in a strength training environment.
