Mathematics Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join our team at James Sheahan Catholic High School in Orange NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality curriculum programs in Mathematics, creating a nurturing and orderly learning environment for students, and promoting a culture of effort, engagement, and excellence.

• Develop and implement quality curriculum programs in Mathematics, aligned with curriculum policies and standards.
• Create a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation.
• Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Analyse student assessment data to identify learning barriers and develop strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes and stay up-to-date with best practices in Mathematics education.
• Collaborate with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life, promoting a positive and supportive school culture.
