Job Opportunity

We are seeking highly skilled anaesthetic professionals to join our team at Gold Coast Health.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care for patients undergoing anaesthetics or sedation
    • Develop and implement comprehensive anaesthetic management plans in consultation with consultants
    • Conduct thorough preoperative assessments of surgical patients, involving consultation with surgeons and physicians as needed
    • Provide expert consultative services to hospital medical staff on anaesthetic and perioperative matters
    • Offer urgent consultation and assistance in the resuscitation of critically ill patients, particularly those about to undergo emergency surgery
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be registered as a trainee with the ANZCA and have eligibility to commence training as an anaesthetic specialist
  • Hold AHPRA Registration
  • Provide evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, Hepatitis B, and COVID-19
  • Undergo Tuberculosis screening
  • Disclose any serious discipline history
