About the Role:

You will report to the store manager and have full accountability for the day-to-day running of the deli department. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the store is exceptionally presented, welcoming, and engaging for customers, team members, and the community.

About You and Your Skills:

  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced customer-facing environment with excellent communication skills.
  • Direct or indirect leadership experience, with a focus on leading, coaching, and developing your team to meet sales targets, cost control, and rostering requirements.
  • Maintaining high-quality department standards, including monitoring stock levels, rotation routines, wastage, shrinkage, and quality control.
  • Fostering a collaborative team culture that prioritizes team members' health, safety, and wellbeing.
