Nova is seeking an experienced Process Technician to join their Nickel, Copper, Cobalt processing plant. The role involves ensuring the processing plant operates in a safe and efficient manner.
The key accountabilities include:
- Monitoring and reporting on process plant performance;
- Documenting relevant data on shift reports and maintaining shift diaries with up-to-date information;
- Communicating directly with the Shift Supervisor to ensure they are fully informed of problems or critical issues that may impact the operation of the plant.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in a similar operational mining environment. You will also possess a sound understanding and experience in mineral processing operations, including base metal flotation. A high level of understanding of process control systems is essential, as well as a safety-focused mindset.
