Job Description

We are seeking a confident and committed mental health nurse to fill this pivotal leadership position within our Mental Health Clinical Program.

In this role, you will play a hands-on part in coordinating complex care, overseeing clinical quality, and guiding less experienced nursing staff through mentorship and supervision.

You'll be empowered to lead nursing initiatives, implement evidence-based practice, and foster a collaborative and inclusive environment.

This role provides the opportunity to contribute directly to enhanced consumer outcomes while building your own leadership capabilities in one of SA Health's most dynamic mental health settings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Eligibility: Open to Everyone Royal Adelaide Hospital / CALHN

Salary: RN/M2A $103,353 to $110,497 + Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice Benefits

Qualifications: Highly experienced and qualified mental health nurse with a passion for leadership and service excellence in mental health

Requirements: Strong clinical acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to support, coach, and guide others in a multidisciplinary team environment

Current registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and a recognised qualification in Mental Health Nursing (equivalent to Graduate Diploma)

Minimum three years post-registration experience, or current classification as a Clinical Nurse

Proven ability to manage staff performance, provide clinical supervision, and implement service improvements

Hold current required clearances, and be compliant with immunisation and vaccination requirements
