Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for conducting laboratory measurements, performing visual inspections of products, and maintaining document control of quality management procedures and associated documents.

  • Conduct laboratory measurements for all products in accordance with the quality plan
  • Perform visual inspections of products on the production floor to ensure compliance with standards
  • Maintain document control of quality management procedures and associated documents (achieve, update and issue quality documents as directed)
Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Specialist will also be responsible for:

  • Coordinating action on customer complaints after discussion with Process Operators and Production Manager
  • Conducting in-house product inspection & testing
  • Ensuring all HACCP Plan verification activities are complete. Coordination of equipment calibration as per quality manual.
  • Participating in the company's environmental monitoring program
  • Reviewing and filing incoming goods documentation
  • Monitoring operational GMP compliance
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in quality assurance or a related field
  • Tertiary qualifications fit for verifying QC tasks and records
