Assistant Coordinator Job DescriptionAbout the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to assist in the day-to-day running of our service, supporting the Service Coordinator with management of a team of Educators.

You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of the Coordinator, Senior Coordinator Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and OSHC Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop quality programs that cater to the needs of children.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Support the Coordinator with staff management, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluation.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and administration requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with families and the school community to provide high-quality care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Completed or actively studying relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Diploma in Children Services).
  • Demonstrated experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcare.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and correct documentation in an OSHC service.
  • Excellent customer service skills, verbal and written communication skills.
  • First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain.
  • NQF knowledge would be advantageous.
