Operations Support Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Support Assistant to join our team on a full-time temporary basis. This 10-week opportunity will provide critical support to our Operations Support team within a Local Council.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Operations team, including diary and email management for key leaders.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of internal processes, reviewing and implementing procedures as needed.
  • Coordinate internal meetings, including preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven ability to work independently, using initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong general administrative skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional time management, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Competency in researching and navigating internal systems.

Desirable:

  • Experience in providing customer service via phone, face-to-face, and written communication.
